Frequently Asked Questions Should I provide my grade or education year when registering for the Olympiad? Is there any age restriction? There is no age restriction. Students must register according to their current grades, not the school year in which they are enrolled. The qualification round exams will be held on 2 alternative (optional) dates to ensure a high level of participation. Schools and students can choose one or both dates that best suit their schedule to participate in the Olympiad. Can I take part in any of the Qualification Round Exams? Do I need to take part in both of the Qualification Round Exams to advance to the Final Round? You can participate in either of the Qualification Round Exams or both in each of the four categories. It's not necessary to take both exams to advance to the Final Round. Will questions in all categories be exclusively asked from the PhET and CodeCombat platforms? Should I focus solely on these platforms for exam preparation? These platforms are recommended study resources for participants and will be used for questions on some of the subjects listed. They may not cover all topics, so additional open sources should be used for comprehensive study. However, participants in the Coding Category are strongly encouraged to study and practice using the CodeCombat platform. Will I be able to see the questions and my answers once the exams are over? Unfortunately, this service is not accessible. The Main Team Organization GmbH owns the right to publish the questions and any digital distribution or publicity of them is prohibited. The student's log records are examined and shared with the student only if there is an objection or if technical problems are encountered. Can I retake the exam if I miss the exam due to an emergency or can I get my exam fee refunded? Students who do not have a camera or a zoom connection will be unable to receive this degree and award even if they receive the highest score in the exam.
