The concept of the International STEM Olympiad can be expressed as follows: It is an international competition designed for primary, secondary and high school students. STEM Olympiad provides online exams as well as a physical organization, STEM Olympiad Grand Final program, which takes place during the summer months. Participants have the flexibility of choosing between two available dates for the online exams. Schools can select and announce the exam dates that best fit their academic calendar. The questions for the Olympiad are prepared in alignment with the STEM Curriculum. A key aspect of the Olympiad’s philosophy is that the questions are derived from real-life scenarios, which forms the foundation of our approach and concept. By integrating everyday experiences into the questions, we aim to make STEM learning more relatable and impactful for students, ultimately fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of these subjects.
