Payment Conditions

1. Each selected category or exam in the Qualification Round Exams requires a separate payment. Please refer to the table above for the participation fees in the Qualification Round Exams.
2. Participation in the Final Round and Best of the Bests Round Exams is free of charge for qualified students.
3. Paid exam(s) can not be changed, canceled or refunded.
4. Students who are unable to take the exam due to unforeseen circumstances will not be offered an alternative or make-up exam, and there will be no refund for the missed exam.
5. It is not mandatory to take both Qualification Round Exams in the same category. By doing so, a student can increase his or her chances of qualifying for the Final Round while also gaining valuable experience.
6. Payments are received by a global payment processing platform Stripe by a credit or debit card. The applicant's card information can not be seen or stored by STEM Olympiad under any circumstances.
7. Duplicate Payments Issue:
   >> You may encounter a payment issue as a result of the internet, your bank or the actions you take on the payment screen. Should there be an issue;
        - First of all, please check whether the money has been withdrawn from your bank account (or credit card account). If not, retry the payment process.
        - If the payment has been withdrawn but does not appear on the panel, please contact us via the contact form: https://stemolympiad.org/contact/
        - If you pay for the same exam again in case the first payment does not show up on your screen, the second payment will be refunded after the transaction fee is deducted.
   >> If a teacher and a student each made a separate payment for two different accounts that were opened on behalf of the student:
        - The refund amount is 13 € for the Coding category and 15 € for the Science, Math and Technology & Engineering categories due to ​the Stripe Payment Processing Platform commission.
