PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  1. Each selected category or exam in the Qualification Round requires a separate payment of 20 €.
  2. Participation in the Final Round and Best of the Best (BOB) Round Exams is free of charge for qualified participants.
  3. Payments are final and non-refundable once completed.
  4. Students who are unable to take an exam for any reason will not be offered a make-up exam or refund.
  5. Taking both Qualification Round Exams in the same category is not required. However, participating in both exams may increase a student's chances of advancing to the Final Round and provide additional exam experience.
  6. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a global payment platform that accepts credit and debit cards. Card details are never visible to or stored by the STEM Olympiad under any circumstances.

DUPLICATE PAYMENT ISSUES

In case of payment problems caused by internet connectivity, bank issues or actions on the payment interface:

  1. First, check your bank or credit card account to confirm whether the payment has been deducted. If no payment has been deducted, you may try the payment again.
  2. If the payment has been deducted but is not reflected in the Student Panel, please contact us through the contact form.
  3. If a participant makes a duplicate payment for the same exam because the first payment is not immediately reflected in the Student Panel, the second payment will be refunded after deducting the transaction fee.
  4. If a teacher and a student make separate payments for two different accounts created for the same student, 15 € of the second payment will be refunded.

Please note that each student should have only one account to avoid payment and registration issues.
