- These categories have been moved to the independently organized Coding Olympiad. Students can access the Coding Olympiad portal directly by navigating through their STEM Student Panel, or by logging in at https://codingolympiad.org/

Should I provide my grade or education year when registering for the Olympiad? Is there any age restriction?
- There is no age restriction. Students must register according to their current grade, not the school year in which they are enrolled. Click below to view the comparison table of education year and grade level by country.

Why are there 2 optional exams for the Qualification Round?
The qualification round exams will be held on 2 alternative (optional) dates to increase accessibility. Schools and students can choose one or both dates that best suit their schedule to participate in the Olympiad.

Which languages are available?
Qualification & Final Round: EN, ES, FR, RU, AZ, TR
BOB Global Round: EN only

Can students register for multiple categories?
- Yes, each category requires a separate payment of 20 €.

Are payments refundable?
- No, payments are final and non-refundable once completed.

What happens if a student misses an exam?
- Missed exams cannot be rescheduled, and no refund will be issued.

Will I be able to see the questions and my answers once the exams are over?
Unfortunately, this service is not accessible. The Main Team Organization GmbH owns the right to publish the questions and any digital distribution or publicity of them is prohibited. The student's log records are examined and shared with the student only if there is an objection or if technical problems are encountered.

What if the internet connection is lost during the exam? Is it possible to reconnect? Will this result in a cancellation of the exam?
If your internet connection is lost during the exam, you can reconnect and continue the exam from where you left off. Your exam will reopen with all of your answers saved. Your exam will not be cancelled. If you cannot reconnect within the exam period, your exam will be evaluated according to the questions you answered. There is no option to retake the exam once it has been completed.

Are Final Round & BOB Exams free?
- Yes, for qualified participants.

How are exams monitored?
- Exams are monitored through a camera system integrated into the exam platform. Students must use a device with an active, functioning camera throughout the exam.
