ABOUT THE FINAL EXAM RESULTS OF THE STEM OLYMPIA

A) FINAL EXAM RESULTS

1. Final exam reports can be downloaded from student and teacher panels.
2. The RESULT part of the final exam report includes information about the medals, certificates, and awards that the student has received based on the STEM final exam results.
3. Information on Medals, Certificates, Awards, and Grand Final Discounts:
   a) The top 3 students in each category will receive original medals and hardcopy certificates based on their STEM final exam results for all grades.
   b) The top 3 students in only the Coding and Art categories will receive awards based on STEM final exam results for all grades.
   c) The top 3 students in only the Coding and Art categories will receive STEM Grand Final discounts based on STEM final exam results between grades 5 through 11.
   d) The top 3 students in grades 1, 2, 3, and 12 in the Math and Science categories will receive awards based on STEM final exam results.
   e) You can download your certificates between 30 March and 1 June 2023. Certificates will not be available for download after 1 June 2023.
4. STEM Grand Final discounts will be provided in the Math and Science categories for grades 5 through 11 based on the Best of the Best Exam results.
5. The participants qualified for the Best of the Best exams are required to confirm the BOB Exam conditions and register for this exam via their student panels between 21-28 April 2023. There is no need for additional payment.

B) REGARDING GRAND FINAL REGISTRATION AND APPLICATIONS

• 63% of the quotas have been completed during the early registration process.
• Registration is still open, and the registration deadline is 3 April 2023.
• We advise groups that want to participate without waiting for the award to register as soon as possible.
• Students who intend to attend only if they receive an award do not need to register. Places have been reserved for award-winning students. These students can then be added to any Grand Final group in their country based on their exam results (on the condition that the group teacher accepts responsibility).

Regarding the Grand Final Discounts

• These discounts are only valid for students in grades 5 to 11.
• These discounts are only valid for the top 3 participants in all categories.
• In the Coding and Art categories, these discounts are given based on the final exam results.
• In the Math and Science categories, these discounts are given based on the Best of the Best exam results.
• A total of 78 students will be given the following Grand Final discounts:
  - 75% discount for first-place winners
  - 50% discount for second-place winners
  - 25% discount for third-place winners
• These discounts are applied to the 1,250 € early registration fee.
• 78 students can use these discounts under the following conditions:
  - An individual student cannot participate in the Grand Final. The award-winning student must be part of an 8-student group from their school, city, or country in order to participate in the Grand Final.
  - According to the Grand Final Conditions, this program is not open to parents. Therefore, an award-winning student cannot participate and use the discount with a parent or any other relative.
  - This discount cannot be transferred to another student or transferred to future years.
  - This discount cannot be received in cash.
  - Students who registered and paid the registration deposit will receive a discount and any refunds if they win a discount after the BOB Exams.
  - This discount is only applicable to the participation fee of the organization. The student is responsible for the cost of the visa, insurance, flight tickets, lunch and dinner costs.
