Contribution Conditions for the STEM Olympiad Q-TEAM

Dear Teachers,

We welcome you to become a member of the STEM Olympiad Q-Team.

What is the STEM Olympiad Q-Team?

The STEM Olympiad has been held for four years, with approximately 20 teachers from nine countries working diligently to create multiple-choice questions based on the STEM philosophy. This year, it was decided to encourage more international collaboration by establishing the STEM Question Team.

What is the objective of the STEM Q-Team?

In the upcoming phase, where teachers will contribute by creating questions, the following goals are intended:
> Achieving curriculum unity and consistency through a more international network of teachers
> Gaining insights into the perspectives and applications of STEM subjects in various countries' education systems
> Combining teachers' experiences who have graduated from different universities worldwide and have taught in various countries to present the most efficient and relevant questions to students.

What are the Expectations for Teachers Who Wish to Join the STEM Q-Team?

> Initially, teachers will be asked to provide 3 multiple-choice questions relevant to their subject area. The topics will be specified based on the teaching level (primary/secondary/high school) and communicated via email.
> In the second step, the formatting of the 3 questions will be completed, and the teacher will be asked to review and double-check them.
> Additionally, teachers who are willing may be asked to submit extra questions, conduct additional reviews or translate questions.

What are the advantages of being a teacher on the STEM Q-Team?

> The teacher's name, surname and country will be listed on the Q-Team board of this internationally prestigious competition and published on the website.
> Teachers in the Q-Team will receive a special contribution certificate from the STEM Olympiad Committee.
> For every set of 3 questions prepared and approved, teachers will receive 3 free entry codes for online exams in the Math or Science categories.

What steps must teachers take to join the STEM Q-Team and how will the process proceed?
