STEM Olympiad ART Category

International STEM Olympiad brings the ART category in STEAM together with students this year. We intend to integrate ART subjects with STEM subjects in the STEM + ART category by utilizing various relevant education programs. In addition to strengthening students' math and scientific foundations, these programs seek to educate students about innovation, critical thinking, and the application of engineering or technology in innovative ideas or inventive solutions to practical issues. By incorporating design and reasoning concepts and promoting original thinking, STEAM programs integrate the arts into STEM coursework.

Two main groups comprise the topics in the ART category. The participants in grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 will solve the same questions. And also the participants in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 will solve the same questions. There are a total of 25 multiple-choice questions in the ART category. Each grade's results will be evaluated independently, and the results will be announced accordingly.

The syllabus menu contains sample questions from the ART area. Past papers cannot be provided since this category did not exist in previous years.

The ART category will include Qualification and Final Round exams, which will require a Zoom connection with one camera. The BOB Exams (the best of the best) will not be available for this category.

According to their Final Exam results, the top three students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 will receive a special discount for participation in the Grand Final program, provided all other participation conditions are met. Please check the awards link for more information on these conditions.

The International STEM Olympiad promotes the motivation and success of students in grades 2 and 3 in particular. Thus, all Grades 2 and 3 students who take the STEM Olympiad Qualification Exams will advance to the Final Exams and will be rewarded based on their exam results.
